Hello, everyone! Welcome to the end of the week/weekend edition of Crossroads Cannablog! We have some great content from awesome content creators, as well as plenty of news and information to help everyone along in the Cannabis Culture Journey! So, get your clicking fingers ready and get prepared to get enlightened! First up is Dan, from Dan's Buddha Bodega , with another excellent and highly amusing review. This time he's taking a look at Cresco Labs Lemon Bean strain . Lemon Bean is a Sativa dominant strain and, if you're an Indica person, like Dan and myself, this won't be your best strain. On the other hand, if you're a Sativa person, then this is going to be your groove!   What would a week be like if we didn't have a review from Cannabis Critique ? Dull and uninformative, that's what! Fortunately, we have another good review from him and it's for Revolution s Mint Chocolate Chip strain. This is another Sativa leaning hybrid, but it looks like...

Hello and welcome to the weekend! There have been more than a few things you might want to see come out in the last few days, so here they are! I hope you enjoy them and the great creators that made them!       Weed Entertainment has a new review of a West Coast strain, Plum Mochi,  a hybrid strain from Teds Budz/Los Angeles Treez.    And no week would be complete without a review from Cannabis Critique . This time around he's giving us a look at Birthday Party , an Indica dominant strain from In Grown Farms in Illinois. 30% THC is nothing to laugh at and my envy meter is pegged!    And, over in Pennsylvania, Alex22 has a review up of a new purveyor in the PA medical market, Cheese Cake Cured Crumble by Penn Health Group . If you're a concentrates person, you might like this one! If you're in the market for a dry herb vaporizer, then you might be interested in a new review of the Rogue dry herb vaporizer by Healthy Rips . Sneaky Pete t...

First up is the ever amusing and totally honest, Dan from Dan's Buddha Bodega , with another great review! This time he's firing up some Jet Fuel OG from GTI / Rythm out of Illinois.    Next we have a fresh review from Alex22 over in Pennsylvania. This time around he's trying out another Moxie live resin cartridge, Slymer, a Sativa dominant hybrid strain with some great medical benefits. Alex is concentrates lover, and I don't blame him, as there are some great ones out there!  Doc, over at Weed Entertainment , has a review of a West Coast brand of the ever popular Wedding Cake strain. This one is by Cannabi...

Some Weekend Reviewing: Good News Disposable Vape Pens

Image
Hello and welcome to another review! Today's review is of the Good News Me Time and Friyay 300mg disposable vape pens. Good News is yet another of Cresco Labs labels. These highly popular vape pens are available in Illinois and in Michigan, (and probably other markets where Cresco has a presence). Frankly, these vape pens are a good value in most places. In Illinois they run around $35-40 and in Michigan they run in the $20-25 range. Needless to say, it's worthwhile to pick up a couple or a few, if you're in Michigan. These are both top notch products and the fact that both routinely sell out at dispensaries (especially the Friyay) speaks to their popularity. There's a reason for that, too! Folks that use these know they're getting a good product. So, on to the Me Time. The blue Me Time vape is an Indica dominant vape. The aroma, if you take a whiff from the opening, is fruity and a bit reminiscent of bubblegum. The taste is also very nice and smooth with a fruiti...

Hello and welcome to another Crossroads Cannablog! In today's issue we have a few great reviews, some amusing unboxing, news and more! If you like what you see, please feel free to subscribe, comment and share! Doc, over at Weed Entertainment , takes a look at White Bubblegum Gelato hybrid strain from Backpack Boyz out on the West Coast. This is a really nice looking strain! He likes Sativa style flower (euphoric and energizing) and this hybrid looks like it fits the bill! Cannabis Critique beat me to the punch with his review of Cresco 's Green Line OG. I'll be posting my review on this strain very soon but, until then, watch this for a look at  a nice hybrid flower from Cresco.   Cannacentric Films has another great review and this time it is Cresco 's Lime Skunk flower. This is a Sativa from Cresco's Rise line of flower. This review is really an informative look at Lime Skunk. I've had one of their Skunk lines and it was very nice, even though I prefer In...

So, let's get to it, shall we?   Some of my favourite cannabis connoisseurs have had a great time getting introduced to new strains and they are great at sharing their opinions on these cannabis strains and forms. And I love putting them up here for even more people to see and experience them! First up we have Chris, at CannaBev . He really wants folks to get Cookie Dos, from Revolution (an Illinois grower). Chris never fails to inform me in an interesting fashion and this episode gets 5 Stars for being the funniest review, yet!     Bobs Bomb Buds gives a nice look at Stardust OG. I must say that, going by Stardust's lineage, it looks like a nice bud!     Over at ...

Hello and welcome back to Crossroads Cannablog! It's been a busy week for me, so I've been a bit slack in getting this out. Mea Culpa Maximus! This edition will run a bit long, but everything is just so darned good! More content coming ASAP!           Cannabis Critique has another good review. This time he is reviewing the Love Triangle strain by Columbia Care in Illinois. Dan, at Dan's Buddha Bodega takes a look at Ha'tuh Pressed Hash by PTS. I must say that this stuff looks pretty darned good, but doesn't look like any I've ever had in the Middle East. Still, Dan's review makes me want to go have a try!   Chris, over at Cannabev , has yet another excellent review. This time he takes a look at Miami Punch, by Revolution Cannabis . Chris is a great reviewer and touches so many bases in his content. Take the time and watch his stuff, you will not be disappointed!   We're going to have a double header from Cannabis Critique , this time aro...

Hello! Happy Monday and welcome to a new week of Crossroads Cannablog. I've got a few very good links to some great content! I'm going to try some new formatting to aid in presenting things, let me know what you think!   TVape has their review/ranking of the Top 5 Best Oil Pens And 510 Batteries of 2021. These look really nice and have some great features, but we'll keep our eyes peeled for any new ones, as well, 2021 has barely begun.   The ever cheerful and always informative Cannabis Coach Haley has a review of Genius Pills from 1906 . These sound like a nice addition for daytime use!   Chris, from CannaBev , has a nice review of the Lava Cake strain from Aeriz, (an Illinois aeroponics grower). I have liked Aeriz's products when I have tried them. They do a good job when it comes to growing quality cannabis!     Welcome to the information section! Here I am posting content that...informs. How to's and news from the cannabis world! First ...

Welcome to the Friday edition of Crossroads Cannablog! I hope everyone had a great week and that you have an even better weekend! We've got some gems today! Some strain and product reviews that span from coast to coast, some science geek cannabis knowledge, a look at last years High Times Cannabis Cup Illinois winners, and a bit of political talk-talk that concerns us and our plants of choice. So, let's get to it!   Weed Entertainment has a new piece up on LA's Top 30 Best Cannabis strains. As always, very informative. If you're in the LA area give us a shout and let us know if you agree!   Next up is the ever informative Cannabis Critique! He is reviewing the Cookies and Cream strain from Revolution , in Illinois. He is not the only person to give Revolution good marks, as you'll see in the High Times video! Revolution is really starting to spread out in Illinois and their popularity is warranted.    Here's a short taste test from Alex, over in Pennsyl...

Hello, and welcome to a new week! We have a few things to look at today. We have some great video reviews, a podcast on a cannabis documentary called "Weediatrics",  (about parents using cannabis to treat their children even when the powers that be forbid it), a great piece from Katherine Mangu-Ward on how to talk to your young kids about cannabis, another great review from Cannacentric Films on Aeriz's Cake Breath flower, a great little video from Green Flower and Samantha Miller on understanding cannabinoids, and a Talk and Toke review from the inimitable Cannabev. So let's get to it, shall we? First up is a short article from Katherine Mangu-Ward, at Reason Magazine, on how to talk to your kids about cannabis. As someone who has young adult "kids" I never had to deal with this issue when I re-entered the cannabis culture. I did have to spend some time undoing all the lies that their government schools allowed the cops in D.A.R.E. to try and  brainwas...

Happy 420!

Image
Every day has two 4:20's, but today is our special day! Happy 420, y'all!  To kick off this years special day, how about some cannabis videos from some of my favourite people in our community? Sounds like a plan! Blaze one, sit back and click some links. These folks have ya covered. First up is Vanessa. You might recognize her from Bong Appétit , on Vice. Not only is she one of the smartest, hottest and most talented women in cannabis cooking and advocacy, she can teach us all how to infuse our food with cannabis. Vanessa has a Patreon for cannabis cooking fans and she knows her stuff! So, time to make some snacks! Next up is Dan, with a review of Cresco's Mint Cake flower and their SlurriCrasher Live Butter. I'm not gonna spoil it for you, but suffice it to say, Dan not only informs he amuses, too! He is not to be missed! Cresco's a name you've probably heard of and will likely hear a lot more of, as they are one of the largest cannabis corporations around. ...

Welcome to Crossroads Cannablog!

Image
Welcome to Crossroads Cannablog. Here I will be featuring news, reviews, videos, commentary and more, that concerns cannabis. Some of my journey will be here, as well as that of others whom I know in the Cannabis Community, in the Midwest and beyond. As I live in a place where cannabis is still forbidden and I need to use cannabis for medical reasons, much of what I publish from a personal perspective will be kind of anonymous on my part. But I will endeavor to not bore you! One of the most frustrating aspects of delving back into cannabis after decades away, is finding relevant information on strain, methods and products, to use for my particular needs. I am sure I am not alone in this, either. And the major search engines don't make things easy. So, I'm going to try to be a "Best Of" clearinghouse. If you have any questions about anything cannabis related, ask away! I'll try to answer it, or find an answer for you, if I can. And I'll bring in an expert o...
