Breaking News!   Hello and welcome to another edition of the Crossroads Cannablog. I do apologize for the delay in any posts but life interfered and I was giving thought to where I'd like to take things here at Crossroads. More on that at a future date. For now, let's discuss some current events related to our community and culture. First up is a rather disturbing piece via The Daily Beast on the USCC (the US Cannabis Council) and what looks like a really corrupt "legalisation" lobbyist organisation that wants some special cutouts for themselves.  As an emerging industry with sky-high revenue projections, lofty social-justice promises , and ground rules currently being written from scratch, no business in America prompts ready comparisons to Silicon Valley like legal cannabis . But though analysts project legal weed sales to balloon from $17.5 billion last year to $70 billion by 2028 —exponential growth fueled by the beginning of adult-use sales in East Coast

Hello, everyone! Welcome to the end of the week/weekend edition of Crossroads Cannablog! We have some great content from awesome content creators, as well as plenty of news and information to help everyone along in the Cannabis Culture Journey! So, get your clicking fingers ready and get prepared to get enlightened! First up is Dan, from Dan's Buddha Bodega , with another excellent and highly amusing review. This time he's taking a look at Cresco Labs Lemon Bean strain . Lemon Bean is a Sativa dominant strain and, if you're an Indica person, like Dan and myself, this won't be your best strain. On the other hand, if you're a Sativa person, then this is going to be your groove!   What would a week be like if we didn't have a review from Cannabis Critique ? Dull and uninformative, that's what! Fortunately, we have another good review from him and it's for Revolution s Mint Chocolate Chip strain. This is another Sativa leaning hybrid, but it looks like

Hey, everyone, and welcome to another Crossroads Cannablog! Seems like everyone has been super busy and I'm happy to share their excellent content with you, again. And don't forget to like, subscribe and comment at their channels! And ours! Shall we start with the reviews? We do have a few to get through and folks chose some killer strains to share with you this time around!     First up are a pair of reviews from Bob's Bomb Buds . Now, "Bob" is in Canada, but cannabis strains know no borders these days. The Skywalker OG review is great and Skywalker can be found many places down here! Island Pink Kush , though, is one I have yet to see, but I am looking forward to it! It sounds entirely consumable!   Cannacentric Films has another great review online. This go around it is OZ Kush BX2 from Bedford Grow . Lots of genetics info, as usual and a good look at an Illinois weed you might need!   Cannabis Critique went out and got some Mint Cake from Cresco Labs

Review: Cresco Labs Green Line OG (Hybrid)

Image
Hello and welcome to another review! Today's review is of Green Line OG flower from Cresco Labs . This came from an Illinois dispensary a bit ago and It's gotten some use, from me. This flower is from Cresco's Refresh Line, indicating that it is a Hybrid strain. Green Line is a 50/50 strain of Indica and Sativa but, in my opinion, it leans a bit more to the Sativa side. This is a great strain for medical use, as it is a fairly potent painkiller. It has no sedative effects, so my suggestion is to use this one as a daytime smoke. You can get stuff done!  This batch of GLOG came in at 23.6% THC. Depending on the batch and the grower you can certainly find it at lower or higher concentrations of THC. And, as you can see from the nicely informative label, the primary terpenes in this one are Cymene and Limonene, that made for a kind of nice taste.   The buds were nicely frosted with trichomes, outside and in. They were a bit dry, as I have come to expect from Cresco's flo

Some Weekend Reviewing: Good News Disposable Vape Pens

Image
Hello and welcome to another review! Today's review is of the Good News Me Time and Friyay 300mg disposable vape pens. Good News is yet another of Cresco Labs labels. These highly popular vape pens are available in Illinois and in Michigan, (and probably other markets where Cresco has a presence). Frankly, these vape pens are a good value in most places. In Illinois they run around $35-40 and in Michigan they run in the $20-25 range. Needless to say, it's worthwhile to pick up a couple or a few, if you're in Michigan. These are both top notch products and the fact that both routinely sell out at dispensaries (especially the Friyay) speaks to their popularity. There's a reason for that, too! Folks that use these know they're getting a good product. So, on to the Me Time. The blue Me Time vape is an Indica dominant vape. The aroma, if you take a whiff from the opening, is fruity and a bit reminiscent of bubblegum. The taste is also very nice and smooth with a fruiti

Hello and welcome to another Crossroads Cannablog! In today's issue we have a few great reviews, some amusing unboxing, news and more! If you like what you see, please feel free to subscribe, comment and share! Doc, over at Weed Entertainment , takes a look at White Bubblegum Gelato hybrid strain from Backpack Boyz out on the West Coast. This is a really nice looking strain! He likes Sativa style flower (euphoric and energizing) and this hybrid looks like it fits the bill! Cannabis Critique beat me to the punch with his review of Cresco 's Green Line OG. I'll be posting my review on this strain very soon but, until then, watch this for a look at  a nice hybrid flower from Cresco.   Cannacentric Films has another great review and this time it is Cresco 's Lime Skunk flower. This is a Sativa from Cresco's Rise line of flower. This review is really an informative look at Lime Skunk. I've had one of their Skunk lines and it was very nice, even though I prefer In

Hello and welcome back to Crossroads Cannablog! It's been a busy week for me, so I've been a bit slack in getting this out. Mea Culpa Maximus! This edition will run a bit long, but everything is just so darned good! More content coming ASAP!           Cannabis Critique has another good review. This time he is reviewing the Love Triangle strain by Columbia Care in Illinois. Dan, at Dan's Buddha Bodega takes a look at Ha'tuh Pressed Hash by PTS. I must say that this stuff looks pretty darned good, but doesn't look like any I've ever had in the Middle East. Still, Dan's review makes me want to go have a try!   Chris, over at Cannabev , has yet another excellent review. This time he takes a look at Miami Punch, by Revolution Cannabis . Chris is a great reviewer and touches so many bases in his content. Take the time and watch his stuff, you will not be disappointed!   We're going to have a double header from Cannabis Critique , this time around, because

Hello and welcome to the Wednesday edition! There are some really excellent reviews today, some on strains and one on a dispensary in St. Louis, MO. First up is the always entertaining, and very informative, Cannabis Critique from Illinois. His review of Revolution's Cookie Dos flower. That's a nice looking strain! Next up is an amusing write-up of a dispensary in St. Louis, Swade Cannabis Dispensary . Our erstwhile reporter, Thomas Chimchards, is an adventurous consumer reporter, as his reports show.  Click Here To Read It! Dan, from Dan's Buddha Bodega has a review of Lemon Meringue Kush, by Cresco. Get informed and amused! Weed Entertainment takes the time to review a West Coast strain called Project 4516 by GrandiFlora Genetics. If you are a vaper, his reviews are definitely geared towards you!  That's it for today, I'll be back soon with more reviews, (mine and others) and some more news! Till then, stay high! Happy 420!

Every day has two 4:20's, but today is our special day! Happy 420, y'all!  To kick off this years special day, how about some cannabis videos from some of my favourite people in our community? Sounds like a plan! Blaze one, sit back and click some links. These folks have ya covered. First up is Vanessa. You might recognize her from Bong Appétit , on Vice. Not only is she one of the smartest, hottest and most talented women in cannabis cooking and advocacy, she can teach us all how to infuse our food with cannabis. Vanessa has a Patreon for cannabis cooking fans and she knows her stuff! So, time to make some snacks! Next up is Dan, with a review of Cresco's Mint Cake flower and their SlurriCrasher Live Butter. I'm not gonna spoil it for you, but suffice it to say, Dan not only informs he amuses, too! He is not to be missed! Cresco's a name you've probably heard of and will likely hear a lot more of, as they are one of the largest cannabis corporations around.
