Review: AU Dragonfly Vega Nutter Butter Pre-Rolls 5 Pack (3.5 G)

Image
Greetings and welcome back! Today we have a review of Dragonfly's 3.5 gram pre-roll pack of the Nutter Butter strain. Nutter Butter is a cross of C435 or the Grateful Breath strain (info varies) and Peanut Butter Breath. Each pre-roll should contain .7 grams of whole flower. Now, the boxing of this is very nice. Good, strong cardboard and it is not difficult to open. The joints are all about 1.5-1.75" (smokeable section) and are not too tightly packed, (something other manufacturers should pay attention to). They draw easily, as they should and burn fairly evenly. The aroma of the pre-rolls, in my pack, was a bit floral with some fruity and earthy notes. The smoke, all the way to the end, was smooth and flavourful. There was a definite diesel taste to it, but not in any unpleasant way. It was tasty!  The high with this one comes on hard and fast. It is not a creeper, by any means. It starts in the head with a nice euphoric lift and then hits your body. Pain and anxiet

Breaking News!   Hello and welcome to another edition of the Crossroads Cannablog. I do apologize for the delay in any posts but life interfered and I was giving thought to where I'd like to take things here at Crossroads. More on that at a future date. For now, let's discuss some current events related to our community and culture. First up is a rather disturbing piece via The Daily Beast on the USCC (the US Cannabis Council) and what looks like a really corrupt "legalisation" lobbyist organisation that wants some special cutouts for themselves.  As an emerging industry with sky-high revenue projections, lofty social-justice promises , and ground rules currently being written from scratch, no business in America prompts ready comparisons to Silicon Valley like legal cannabis . But though analysts project legal weed sales to balloon from $17.5 billion last year to $70 billion by 2028 —exponential growth fueled by the beginning of adult-use sales in East Coast

Review: AU Motor Cake Pre-Roll 5 pack (1.75 g) (Michigan)

Image
Hello, everyone and welcome to another review! This time around our cannabis product is a 5 pack of Motor Cake pre-rolls from Common Citizen , a Michigan grower. They total 1.75 grams and each swift is .35 grams. The THC content is a nice 20.43%! The primary terpenes in this strain are Limonene and Linalool, and others at lesser degrees, but these two are the standouts and you can smell them and taste them. Now, a lot of folks would take a pass on these shorties, but I'm not one of them. This small pack cost a whopping $18 and only had two taxes (sales and adult use) that totaled 16%. The dispensary also handed me a $10 discount on my order (pretax!). So, I got almost 2 grams of this for $18! That's a good deal and let's me try out more strains to suit my needs, rather than commit to larger amounts that might not be what I need. These are perfect for that!     Now, Motor Cake was completely new to me. It's an Indica dominant hybrid cross of Motor Breath and Wedd

Hello and welcome to the weekend! There have been more than a few things you might want to see come out in the last few days, so here they are! This time around he's giving us a look at Birthday Party , an Indica dominant strain from In Grown Farms in Illinois. 30% THC is nothing to laugh at and my envy meter is pegged!    And, over in Pennsylvania, Alex22 has a review up of a new purveyor in the PA medical market, Cheese Cake Cured Crumble by Penn Health Group . If you're a concentrates person, you might like this one! If you're in the market for a dry herb vaporizer, then you might be interested in a new review of the Rogue dry herb vaporizer by Healthy Rips . Sneaky Pete takes a look at their latest vape

This go around it is OZ Kush BX2 from Bedford Grow .   Hello and welcome to another Crossroads Cannablog! In today's issue we have a few great reviews, some amusing unboxing, news and more! If you like what you see, please feel free to subscribe, comment and share! Doc, over at Weed Entertainment , takes a look at White Bubblegum Gelato hybrid strain from Backpack Boyz out on the West Coast. This is a really nice looking strain! He likes Sativa style flower (euphoric and energizing) and this hybrid looks like it fits the bill! Cannabis Critique beat me to the punch with his review of Cresco 's Green Line OG. I'll be posting my review on this strain very soon but, until then, watch this for a look at  a nice hybrid flower from Cresco.   Cannacentric Films has another great review and this time it is Cresco 's Lime Skunk flower. This is a Sativa from Cresco's Rise line of flower. This review is really an informative look at Lime Skunk. I've had one of their Skunk lines and it was very nice, even though I prefer In

Review: Verano G-Line G Purps Flower

Image
Hello and welcome to another review! I do hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend and have a great week beyond it! Today's review is of another Verano product and one that has quickly become a favourite strain of mine, G Purps. This strain is an Indica dominant hybrid that comes from crossing G6 "Jet Fuel" with Purple Punch. This a great strain for medical users as well as recreational consumers.      As with most Verano flower their G-Line comes nicely sealed in a glass jar with a styro sela on the inside. Unlike their Private Stock line though, it does not come with a humidity packet. I strongly suggest you pop one in after opening it, as it will improve this already good flower. I do have to say, though, that I like that I have been getting a tic more flower with the Verano products than some others. It is sold as a 3.5 (1/8th oz), but they actually list it on the label, under "usable" as 3.65 grams. Either way, they are giving their customers a lagni

Hello and welcome back to Crossroads Cannablog! It's been a busy week for me, so I've been a bit slack in getting this out. Mea Culpa Maximus! This edition will run a bit long, but everything is just so darned good! More content coming ASAP!           Cannabis Critique has another good review. This time he is reviewing the Love Triangle strain by Columbia Care in Illinois. Dan, at Dan's Buddha Bodega takes a look at Ha'tuh Pressed Hash by PTS. I must say that this stuff looks pretty darned good, but doesn't look like any I've ever had in the Middle East. Still, Dan's review makes me want to go have a try!   Chris, over at Cannabev , has yet another excellent review. This time he takes a look at Miami Punch, by Revolution Cannabis . Chris is a great reviewer and touches so many bases in his content. Take the time and watch his stuff, you will not be disappointed!   We're going to have a double header from Cannabis Critique , this time around, because

Hi all! Sorry for the delay, but life happens. So, to make it up, today's posting is going to be a bit bigger than usual. And it won't be difficult, as it seems everyone is being very prolific this week! And the news out there on the cannabis front isn't all bad. It seems like everyone is talking about terpenes these days, and I can see why. They are what gives us great aroma, taste and effects in our cannabis. So, we'll be exploring that today, as well as in reviews and such. Let's get down to it, shall we? Bob's Bomb Buds takes a look at some Purple Urkle, a Sativa from Canada. This one looks quite nice! Tvape has a look at the Pax Era & Pax Pro vs 510 Threaded Batteries. Nice look at the two and kind of makes you hope they take the best of both and make a truly great battery!   Cannacentric Films gives us a review of Strawberry Kush from Rythm. I'll be honest, this sounds like a really strain for me! Cannabis Critique also has a good review of ano
