Happy 420!

 

Every day has two 4:20's, but today is our special day! Happy 420, y'all! 

To kick off this years special day, how about some cannabis videos from some of my favourite people in our community? Sounds like a plan! Blaze one, sit back and click some links. These folks have ya covered.

First up is Vanessa. You might recognize her from Bong Appétit, on Vice. Not only is she one of the smartest, hottest and most talented women in cannabis cooking and advocacy, she can teach us all how to infuse our food with cannabis. Vanessa has a Patreon for cannabis cooking fans and she knows her stuff! So, time to make some snacks!

Next up is Dan, with a review of Cresco's Mint Cake flower and their SlurriCrasher Live Butter. I'm not gonna spoil it for you, but suffice it to say, Dan not only informs he amuses, too! He is not to be missed! Cresco's a name you've probably heard of and will likely hear a lot more of, as they are one of the largest cannabis corporations around.


And, because we all need some music in our lives, here's a bit of Willie and the boys to get you in the 420 mood!

Review: Verano Reserve Hybrid: Wedding Cake (Flower)

 Welcome to my review of Verano's Wedding Cake flower. This took me a few days to do, because I wanted to see just how this flower worked using a couple of different methods. First up was getting a look at this stuff and seeing what it smells like. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised to see this packaged as nicely as it was. Nice glass jar with a decent lid and it was sealed on the inside with an additional cover and had a Boveda 62% 4 gram humidity pack in it. This is something that other producers should pay attention to. One thing I had hoped for with this beautiful packaging was that it would be airtight. I left it out overnight, (instead of returning it to my usual airtight storage) and the area around where I had it was redolent with the aroma of this Wedding Cake. If someone other than yourself or family in the know, smelling your stash is a potential problem, you will definitely want to transfer the contents of these jars to an actual airtight container.   Unlike som

    Hey, everyone, and welcome to another Crossroads Cannablog! Seems like everyone has been super busy and I'm happy to share their excellent content with you, again. And don't forget to like, subscribe and comment at their channels! And ours! Shall we start with the reviews? We do have a few to get through and folks chose some killer strains to share with you this time around!     First up are a pair of reviews from Bob's Bomb Buds . Now, "Bob" is in Canada, but cannabis strains know no borders these days. The Skywalker OG review is great and Skywalker can be found many places down here! Island Pink Kush , though, is one I have yet to see, but I am looking forward to it! It sounds entirely consumable!   Cannacentric Films has another great review online. This go around it is OZ Kush BX2 from Bedford Grow . Lots of genetics info, as usual and a good look at an Illinois weed you might need!   Cannabis Critique went out and got some Mint Cake from Cresco Labs

Review: Verano Private Stock: Mag Landrace Flower

  I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Today's review is of another Verano product, Mag Landrace Flower, from their Private Stock line. I have become a real fan of Verano's products (as you can see by previous reviews) and have managed to pick up a few of their more excellent products lately. I chose the Mag Landrace on a whim, after some research into it and, I must say, that it was not a bad idea to get this one. I am primarily an Indica user, so this pure landrace variety was intriguing. How can you possibly say no to a strain that is as old and potent as this one? Well, I can't! And I have not regretted it, at all. This strain is worth a toke or two. And, if you're a medical user. there are some real benefits to this one.     As you can see, this batch came in at a nice 25.36% THC. That's pretty darned good in my book.
