Some Weekend Reviewing: Good News Disposable Vape Pens

Hello and welcome to another review! Today's review is of the Good News Me Time and Friyay 300mg disposable vape pens. Good News is yet another of Cresco Labs labels. These highly popular vape pens are available in Illinois and in Michigan, (and probably other markets where Cresco has a presence). Frankly, these vape pens are a good value in most places. In Illinois they run around $35-40 and in Michigan they run in the $20-25 range. Needless to say, it's worthwhile to pick up a couple or a few, if you're in Michigan. These are both top notch products and the fact that both routinely sell out at dispensaries (especially the Friyay) speaks to their popularity. There's a reason for that, too! Folks that use these know they're getting a good product.

So, on to the Me Time. The blue Me Time vape is an Indica dominant vape. The aroma, if you take a whiff from the opening, is fruity and a bit reminiscent of bubblegum. The taste is also very nice and smooth with a fruitiness to it.

The effects are almost immediate, as with most vapes, and this is a nice relaxing high. It's a great vape for pain control (of moderate pain) and is nicely sedative. I have found that it lends itself to lowering my blood pressure, as well (after a spike that last a few minutes from vaping). Me Time is a great vape to finish off your day or as a sleep aid on the way to bed. It's also nice to hit, sit and chill with friends and family around the TV. It's relaxing, but not couch locking. Cannabinoid content varies from batch to batch, but normally runs 73% or better. And both vapes are seriously easy to use. Just take a 3 second draw and it's done! Using one of these 3-4 times a day, mine usually last about 2 weeks, (the Friyay a bit longer, depending on daytime use).

Let's discuss the Friyay vape! This Sativa dominant vape is great for daytime use. The aroma is fruity, but with a lot of berry in it. Like the Me Time, it is a really tasty vape, with a pleasant fruity taste. The effects as you would expect from most Sativa's. It's a nicely energetic high that lets you get stuff done. No sedation at all, but the pain killing aspect is great. This is a great vape to use, get out and do things or just hang with friends and have a good time. Unlike the Me Time, the Friyay has a lower THC content of around 63% but it does have significantly more CBD, around 2%. That really does help to keep anxiety and the such that can occur with some Sativa's, at bay.

When it is all said and done, if you want something tasty, potent, convenient and effective, you will not regret buying and using either of these. The only drawbacks, in my opinion, are the amounts in the pen, lack of recycling ability in most places, and the exorbitant pricing in Illinois. A 500 mg pen would be better, but that's just my greediness talking. And the lack of a recycling program for these is appalling. As for Illinois pricing...well, all you can do is go to Michigan or any other state where they aren't soaking the consumer. The price differences in just Michigan and Illinois shows that it can be done.

Anyway, buy these! It may be "generic" extract, but it is high quality and worth every penny! - *M*
