Hello and welcome to another edition of Crossroads Cannablog! I do hope everyone had a great weekend and is planning for a great week! Some of my favourite cannabis connoisseurs have had a great time getting introduced to new strains and they are great at sharing their opinions on these cannabis strains and forms. And I love putting them up here for even more people to see and experience them!

First up we have Chris, at CannaBev. He really wants folks to get Cookie Dos, from Revolution (an Illinois grower). Chris never fails to inform me in an interesting fashion and this episode gets 5 Stars for being the funniest review, yet!

 


 

Bobs Bomb Buds gives a nice look at Stardust OG. I must say that, going by Stardust's lineage, it looks like a nice bud!

 


 

Over at Weed Entertainment, Doc takes a look Sunset Cookies, a hybrid strain by Clique Cannabis out of California. Thankfully, most good strains from out West eventually make their way East, in time.

In a "More With Max" episode, Green Flower asks a pretty interesting question. What is the state of cannabis flower in the market today? That seems like a rather interesting topic, to me. With the growth in edibles, vapes, tinctures, etc, along with the growth of health conscious non-smokers, there looks to have been decrease in flower sales. I'll be honest, I use LLR/oil carts a lot! Edibles, too. But I always have flower on hand and use it just as frequently. The effects of flower, (depending on your method of consumption) are always better than a vape, IMO. And I think that's why we are not going to see cannabis flower disappear. It's just too good at what it does.

 


More politicians in Congress are putting forward bills to get cannabis legalised. This time it's the Republicans. Here's a news brief from Veriheal.




This one is a bit old, but worth looking into again. A strain of cannabis that can help get diabetes under control? That's great!




And what better way to start the week than a recipe from Chef Wayne for Infused Krispy Peanut Butter Chocolate Treats? This looks so good!

Review: Verano Reserve Hybrid: Wedding Cake (Flower)

 Welcome to my review of Verano's Wedding Cake flower. This took me a few days to do, because I wanted to see just how this flower worked using a couple of different methods. First up was getting a look at this stuff and seeing what it smells like. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised to see this packaged as nicely as it was. Nice glass jar with a decent lid and it was sealed on the inside with an additional cover and had a Boveda 62% 4 gram humidity pack in it. This is something that other producers should pay attention to. One thing I had hoped for with this beautiful packaging was that it would be airtight. I left it out overnight, (instead of returning it to my usual airtight storage) and the area around where I had it was redolent with the aroma of this Wedding Cake. If someone other than yourself or family in the know, smelling your stash is a potential problem, you will definitely want to transfer the contents of these jars to an actual airtight container.   Unlike som

    Hey, everyone, and welcome to another Crossroads Cannablog! Seems like everyone has been super busy and I'm happy to share their excellent content with you, again. And don't forget to like, subscribe and comment at their channels! And ours! Shall we start with the reviews? We do have a few to get through and folks chose some killer strains to share with you this time around!     First up are a pair of reviews from Bob's Bomb Buds . Now, "Bob" is in Canada, but cannabis strains know no borders these days. The Skywalker OG review is great and Skywalker can be found many places down here! Island Pink Kush , though, is one I have yet to see, but I am looking forward to it! It sounds entirely consumable!   Cannacentric Films has another great review online. This go around it is OZ Kush BX2 from Bedford Grow . Lots of genetics info, as usual and a good look at an Illinois weed you might need!   Cannabis Critique went out and got some Mint Cake from Cresco Labs

Review: Verano Private Stock: Mag Landrace Flower

  I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Today's review is of another Verano product, Mag Landrace Flower, from their Private Stock line. I have become a real fan of Verano's products (as you can see by previous reviews) and have managed to pick up a few of their more excellent products lately. I chose the Mag Landrace on a whim, after some research into it and, I must say, that it was not a bad idea to get this one. I am primarily an Indica user, so this pure landrace variety was intriguing. How can you possibly say no to a strain that is as old and potent as this one? Well, I can't! And I have not regretted it, at all. This strain is worth a toke or two. And, if you're a medical user. there are some real benefits to this one.     As you can see, this batch came in at a nice 25.36% THC. That's pretty darned good in my book.
