Review: Verano Swift Lifts - G Purps

Hi and welcome to this Saturday review. Today I'm reviewing G Purps Swift Lifts mini pre-rolls from Verano. This is not my first time with these and I will freely admit that G Purps is a favourite of mine, especially these little pre-rolls. They are powerful and just the right size for anyone, medical or recreational users. Verano recently changed their packaging from plain black and white to this newer and more colourful design. It does look nice but the best thing is that the quality has not only remained the same, it has gone up! So, let's get to it, shall we?

As you can see the contents pack a potent punch and come in at a THC content of 25.3%! G Purps, also known as Grandaddy Purple, GDP, etc, is a very potent and pleasing Indica cross of Mendo Purps, Skunk and Afghanistan.

These 5 pre-rolls are nicely rolled. They have a great firmness to them and the paper filter doesn't interfere with your draw or let anything through, other than smoke. They do NOT come with a Boveda Humidity pack, that is something I add to pretty much all of my products to restore moisture and make them more flavourful. These sat around for a couple of weeks before I got to them and they were perfectly moist. The recyclable aluminum case they come is perfectly sized for carrying, if you wish to travel with them. It is not an airtight case, though, and this can be some aromatic stuff!

Now, down to the brass tacks! G Purps has a very nice smell. It's a fruity aroma with just a hint of skunky, Earthy tones, but mostly just a delicious berry-like scent. The smoke on this was very smooth and didn't cause me any discomfort or coughing. The pre-roll burns nice and even. The effects of G Purps do not take long to come on, about 3 minutes, or so. The high comes on quickly and hits you right in the head, at first. Then it spreads to the body and, in my case, stays around for a good 3 hours plus. This is a potent strain and one medical patients would do well with. It is great for chronic pain and anxiety and as a useful medicine to get to sleep. I usually do not even finish an entire mini of these, they are just that potent! Be warned, though! This is not your daddies Colombian or ditchweed! G Purps is not really for the beginning user and many long time users can easily find themselves couch locked or napping. You can use this strain and do a few things, but being productive may well go out the window. G Purps is definitely an evening and end of day strain and a fantastic medicine. Verano should be congratulated on taking this staple strain and improving on it! Kudos!
